GETTING IN INNSBRUCK
May 6th, 2008
There are good reasons why public transport is the best solution when it comes to travelling to and from matches in Innsbruck.
Kombi-ticket
Your match ticket includes free use of long-distance train and local public transport for 2nd class journey to and from the stadium on the day of the match and on the following day until 12 noon. In Switzerland match tickets are valid in the area of the General Abonnement and in Austria in nation-wide ÖBB trains and local public transports in the 4 host cities.
Special offers
Non-match ticket holders are advised to buy a special EURO-Ticket issued by the local IVB transport authority which gives the holder 36 hours of low-cost travel on the city’s bus, rail and tram services. There are three different types of EURO-Ticket: one for buses and trains in the area between Telfs and Schwaz (€8 adults/€4 children and concessions), a ticket for all buses in Innsbruck city centre (€5/€3) and a combined ticket which covers both zones (€13/€7).
