Italy vs. Romania

I think that during this game, the referee showed unfairness toward Italy; Toni was not offside, therefore Italy merited the goal and most likely a win, despite not being able to realize on several opportunities. In my opinion, the referee was partial and in favour of Romania. Referees are human and make mistakes at times, but I thought his decisions were uncalled for and perhaps exaggerated. We should not allow for referee favoritism or partiality; it’s a shame!

I love the French Team, and I have been watching them since 1996! They always start slow and feel out the tournaments. It cost them in the 2002 appearance at the World Cup. It is so hard to get use to playing tough teams and then get beat by a team that has a different style of play. It is just like in poker, you spent a long time learning your opponets in order to clean up. In fussball the same concept applies. I hope the Dutch bring the A-game they took to Italy. I think most people under rates the Dutch, it is my second favorite team, and I glad they beat Italy (as I do not like their style of play; it is cheap, very rarely do they play “soccer”) but France’s Thierry Henry is going to be a lot to deal, esp if Ribery feeds the way he did with Benzema. Benzema and Henry will be tough for the Dutch defense. The Dutch got weird on defense against the Italians, and Luca Toni is not as aggressive as Thierry Henry. Any playing with the ball near the corner of the box and Henry will place it in the upper 90!!!!

Indeed, the rain made the coaches probably to lookup for the game strategy a little bit longer, but in the end the game looked pretty good and it had a winner.
