post The best european national football teams

May 2nd, 2008

torres_foto1 According to FIFA, the global list of the best national football teams is as follows:

  1. Argentina
  2. Brazil
  3. Italy
  4. Spain
  5. Germany
  6. Czech Republic
  7. France
  8. Portugal
  9. Netherlands
  10. Greece
  11. England
  12. Croatia
  13. Romania
  14. Ghana
  15. Scotland
  16. Mexico
  17. Cameroon
  18. Turkey
  19. Bulgaria
  20. Poland

From this list, 11 teams are in the UEFA Euro Cup this year. Turkey, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland and Russia are included in the next 50.
We can only assume that it will be a very competitive event. As I read some weeks ago: it is for sure the most competitive football event in the world. We will have eleven of the best teams in the world. Even better: 8 out of the 10 best teams in the world will be playing in Switzerland and Austria next summer.
