The Stade de Suisse Wankdorf Bern is a 30 minute journey from the ‘fan mile’.
From the railway station walk north-eastwards to Kornhausplatz and cross the Kornhaus bridge. On the opposite bank just carry straight on to Viktoriaplatz and follow the tram lines until they reach the terminus.
On days when there is NO play, take the no. 9 tram from the station to Guisenplatz. From there take the no. 28 bus to Wankdorfplatz, a journey of approx. 15 minutes. Both services run every 10 minutes.
S-bahn trains take only about 5 minutes to get to the stadium (running every 10 minutes).
On match days there are no direct tram and bus connections.
The S-bahn timetable operating during UEFA EURO 2008 will be available from the SBB at the end of March. You can view the bus and tram timetable here.
Parking
Traffic will definitely be barred from the whole of the northern district on match days. There will therefore be no parking in the northern district.
